Hey everyone, with all the craziness going on, I just wanted to do a quick blog regarding SKYPE or FACETIME Guitar Lessons, and the benefits of taking them over the internet.More students are switching to taking guitar lessons with me using these FREE resources, so regardless of what has been happening lately, here are some benefits of taking guitar lessons online and why you might want to consider learning online.
#1 The obvious, you do not have to travel. Taking guitar lessons in the comfort of your own home is always a benefit, and being more relaxed means better concentration. You also don't have to worry about missing a lesson because of bad weather, or a traffic situation.
#2 Playing through your own gear. Unfortunately not all guitar lesson studios provide good amps , ample space, or access to a WiFi signal. This can become a distraction when something is substandard where you maybe taking guitar lessons.
#3 Internet Access - At times, students may have a song I never heard, or tabs they can't understand how to interpret. This problem is solved easily just by emailing the file(s) to me, or by sending a link in real time.
#4 Save Time, Save Gas - With everyone's schedule so hectic now a days, it can be difficult to find the time to take guitar lessons. A half hr guitar lesson can turn into an hour and half depending how far you have to travel.
#5 Being Sick - With new viruses, the flu, or even a sprained ankle....you don't have to worry about getting sick with all the people coming into the guitar lesson studio. Or, if you have a simple injury that you are unable to drive ( exception of your hands of course) you can still continue with your studies.
